Terms of Service

Welcome to CemMapper ("Service"), operated by Hilltops Group LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service at cemmapper.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CemMapper, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CemMapper is a cloud-based cemetery plot mapping and registry system designed for churches and religious organizations. The Service allows users to:

• Upload aerial maps of cemetery grounds
• Place and manage plot markers on cemetery maps
• Store and manage burial records and registry information
• Export registry data as printable documents

3. Account Registration

To use CemMapper, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

CemMapper offers the following subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited to 25 plots, 1 page, no photo upload or PDF export
• Parish: $19/month or $152/year — 75 plots, photo upload, PDF export
• Diocese: $49/month or $392/year — 300 plots, 3 pages, all features
• Multi-Site: $99/month or $792/year — unlimited plots, 5 pages, all features

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into CemMapper, including burial records, names, dates, and cemetery map information. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CemMapper to:

• Store or transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for any purpose other than cemetery record management

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service availability. We will provide notice when possible.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hilltops Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
